About Serenity Fitness
At Serenity Fitness, we believe fitness should be about more than just how you look—it’s about how you feel, how you move, and how you live. Our focus is on building strength, balance, and confidence from the inside out, helping you create lasting wellness rather than chasing quick fixes.
We’re not just another gym—we’re your third space. Your first space is home, your second is work, and your third should be a place where you can focus entirely on yourself. That’s what we’ve created: a private, supportive community where you can train, restore, and grow without the pressure or intimidation of a traditional gym.
With small group personal training and yoga, we meet you where you are and help you progress at your pace. Here, it’s not about perfection—it’s about building strength, finding balance, and feeling at home in your own body.
Meet the Team
Shelley Bartlow — Owner & Head Coach
Shelley is the heart behind Serenity Fitness, with over a decade of experience in coaching gymnastics, strength training, and functional movement. She’s passionate about creating a space where clients feel strong, supported, and truly seen. Her coaching style blends expertise with empathy, helping each client thrive. Outside the studio, Shelley loves the farmers market, line dancing, and relaxing by the pond with her family, sunshine, and good food.

Dena — Yoga Instructor
Born and raised in Endicott, NY, Dena is thrilled to be teaching just steps away from EPAC, where she spent much of her youth. A lifelong singer, dancer, and creative spirit, she brings warmth, energy, and authenticity to every class.
Yoga first found Dena through her vocal training in New York City, but it quickly became a transformative practice—one that connects mind, body, and spirit. In her classes, expect more than movement; you’ll find empowerment, mindfulness, and alignment.
Dena is a Certified Yoga Teacher through Uplifted Yoga, Plant-Based Nutrition Certified through eCornell, a professional recording artist and vocal coach, and an advanced meditator trained under Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Come experience her heartfelt approach and leave feeling grounded, inspired, and renewed.

Melissa — Yoga Instructor
Melissa’s classes are more than movement—they’re invitations to return home to yourself. With over a decade of experience guiding adults, children, and fellow teachers, she weaves strength, stillness, and soulful play into every offering. Her training at the Yoga Body Institute laid the foundation for a dynamic, breath-led vinyasa style, while her continued studies deepen her understanding of yoga’s roots and its power to transform.
Rooted in the belief that yoga is for every body, Melissa creates inclusive spaces where students feel safe, seen, and empowered. Her teaching blends poetic flow with grounded philosophy, inviting each person to explore the interplay of effort and ease, movement and meaning. Melissa’s passion is to share yoga as a living, breathing art—one that honors the seasons of life, the wisdom of the body, and the beauty of community.

Christina — Yoga Instructor
Christina, a 500-hour E-RYT, has been teaching yoga for over 5 years and practicing for more than 12. She believes a consistent practice helps her grow as both a student and teacher. Christina teaches with heart, humor, and focus, offering classes that build strength, empower movement, and help students feel connected to their bodies and themselves—perfect for every level.

Audrey — Personal Trainer
Recently she became a personal trainer with a passion for encouraging others to feel strong, confident, and truly good in their own skin. She grew up playing sports all the way through college, and now you’ll usually find her running, training for Hyrox, or chasing the next challenge. Fitness has become more than a workout for her—it’s been a way to grow, push limits, and prove that you can do anything you set your mind to. Outside of working a full-time job and coaching at TaylorLeeFit and Serenity Fitness, she’s all about cozy coffee moments, getting lost in a good book, spending quality time with family, and seeking the next new adventure. No matter where someone is starting from, she’s there to cheer them on, meet them where they are, and help them build a life that feels healthy, happy, and empowered.
